NTI Is the Perfect Place to Earn Continuing Education Credits

With learning at the heart of NTI, opportunities to earn CE credits abound. Although NTI participants earn on average between 25 and 30 contact hours of CE credit, many more are available to those who take full advantage of the educational opportunities provided.

In addition to scheduled preconferences, general sessions, concurrent sessions, Exhibit CE sessions and Sunrise sessions, CE credit can be earned in a self-paced format in the Self-Study Pavilion. Time spent viewing the Research, Creative Solutions and Chapter Best Practices posters also provides CE credit. API sessions that meet pharmacology requirements will be awarded pharmacology CE content designation.

NTI News CE Articles

You can earn credits by reading the CE articles that appear in each issue of NTI News. You can read these articles during breaks, while you wait for a session to begin, or at your leisure in your hotel room. Each article offers 1.0 contact hour of Category A CE credit.

To receive credit for this CE activity, you must complete the scannable Program Evaluation Form and enter the class code into your CE computer record. If you missed an article, you can pick up a back issue of NTI News for that day during the Critical Care Exposition hours at the AACN Publications Booth 2873, located in the Exhibit Hall.

Posters and Self-Study

GE Healthcare

Participants can earn up to 11.0 hours of CE credit by visiting both sessions of the Research and Creative Solutions poster presentations. The first, Session A, will be held on Monday and Tuesday, and the second, Session B, will be on Wednesday and Thursday. Session A posters will be available for viewing from Monday at 8 a.m. through Tuesday at 1 p.m. Session B posters will be available for viewing from Wednesday at 8 a.m. through Thursday at 1 p.m. The Self-Study Pavilion, sponsored by GE Healthcare, offers a variety of hands-on, self-paced learning opportunities that are geared to specialized needs.

Exhibit CE Sessions

Exhibit CE sessions are offered by companies exhibiting at the Critical Care Exposition. These 30-minute sessions offer 0.5 contact hours each. More than 100 of these sessions are scheduled during the Critical Care Exposition, which is open Tuesday through Thursday.

Exposition hours are 10:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Check the schedules posted at participating booths for Exhibit CE session times.
