Chapter-related Workshops, Sessions and
Best-practices Poster Sessions Offer Unique Educational Opportunities
NTI offers a wealth of education geared toward
chapters, beginning with Sundays Chapter Leadership Development Workshop
and continuing during the week with Chapter Educational Concurrent Sessions,
Chapter Presidents Luncheon, Best-Practice Posters, Chapter Regional Meetings,
Chapter Web Site Preview and General Info Session. Chapters are also featured
prominently during Sundays Network Night scheduled from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at
McCormick Place, Room W375DE.

Chapter Leadership Development Workshop (LDW)
The LDW is cosponsored again this year by Covidien and
will focus on leadership skills to help officers and leaders successfully
manage their chapters. This years keynote speaker, Stacy D. Nelson from
VitalSmarts, will address Crucial Confrontations.

Chapter Presidents Luncheon
The annual Chapter Presidents Luncheon on Wednesday is
sponsored by Covidien. This invitation-only event highlights and recognizes
chapters and their leadership.
Chapter Best-Practice Posters
The Chapter Best-Practice Posters will be on display
at the Chapter Leadership Development Workshop on Sunday, before being moved
for public viewing to the main poster display area at McCormick Place West.
A flyer listing the posters, chapters and authors will
be located at the Host Chapter Booth.
Chapter Regional Meetings
Your region may be having a Regional Meeting during
NTI where you can meet with your Chapter Adviser and network with other
chapters in other regions as well as your own. Check the Regional Meetings
flyer at the AACN Information Center at McCormick Place West for dates, times,
and locations.
Chapter Web Site Preview and General Info Session
Join us in the Demo Room near the Information Resource
Center on Monday from 5:15 to 6 p.m., or Tuesday from 8 to 8:45 a.m. to view
and learn about the upgraded chapter Web site. Improvements to the site will
make it simpler to navigate and easier for officers to submit financial reports
and manage their chapters.
Host Chapters & the Official NTI T-Shirt
Stop by the Host Chapter Booth, hosted by the Greater
Chicago Area and Northwest Chicago Area Chapters, if you have questions about
the Chicago area. While youre there, be sure to get your official NTI
T-shirt. The T-shirts are also available in the Bookstore. |
