Participants Connect at Network Night

Old friends and colleagues had a chance to catch up and new connections were made at Sunday’s Network Night welcome reception, co-sponsored by Baxter Healthcare Corporation and Critical Care Nurse. “Network Night is when we kick off another highenergy week here at NTI with thousands of our closest friends,” said AACN president Dave Hanson, who opened the event. Amidst upbeat music and some spunky dancing, attendees got a chance to chat and relax before a week full of learning opportunities at NTI. Lucky winners Tina Smith and Amy Doepken snagged free registrations for NTI 2009 in New Orleans, La. In addition, Betty Kerr, Marty Rauser, Terry Mershon and Alice Slavik all won gift certificates to the AACN bookstore.
